• The Real ID act is a burden to an already suffering economy.

• The Real ID act is offensive to those who cherish the Holy Bible.

For these reasons and more we must all step forward and guide our country to the place we want it to be. The threats to the "American way" of life are coming from the inside. Our liberties, once cherished, are almost gone. Our First Amendment right to petition government for redress of grievances is no longer recognized. Free speech zones are set up for protesters on a regular basis. Our right to privacy is gone by way of the Patriot Act and now the Real ID Act.

The future of our nation depends on our actions today.

Your pressure does work! Take a look at the legislative assembly of Pennsylvania. They are demanding that the governor and PennDOT cease and desist the unauthorized implementation of the Real ID Act. Without citizen pressure this would not be happening. Citizens started PA Clean Sweep in July of 2005 to reform their legislative body as a direct response to a pay raise and other questionable deeds in Harrisburg.

The change in office that citizen action brought is the resistance to these acts today. Good Job PA!
